WHAT THIS FLOOR ACTUALLY IS

Handles everyday spills — kitchens and dry interiors, detailed correctly
Water-resistant for everyday use. Not a waterproofing system. Not a flood-proof claim. Clean with a damp mop; remove free water promptly.
Warm underfoot — ready for underfloor heating
Compatible with underfloor heating — declared for the product family, not measured by us per batch. The floor floats, so it follows the heat without being fixed to the screed.
Made for daily life — chairs, shoes, pets
Real long planks — a calmer, continuous floor
Full 1.83 m boards with a fine four-sided micro-bevel — our declared joint.
Ultra-matte — reads as real floor, never plastic

Good to know Think twice if you want a warm, characterful floor — this is the cool, neutral extreme.

CHOOSING · IS THIS THE RIGHT FLOOR

ARCHITECTURAL POSITION

1140-51 is one of the two least warm floors we make, and it is light as well as cool — a pale silver-greige that reports whatever stands on it. Beside oak and sand it warms; beside white walls and steel it goes maritime. It is a ground for a room that will be changed around it more than once.

Where it works

  • Living, dining, bedrooms and dry interior circulation
  • Cool and neutral schemes, and rooms carrying a lot of white
  • Interiors where the furniture, not the floor, holds the colour
  • Homes expected to be re-dressed over the years

Where not to oversell it

Not for showers, standing water or a subfloor whose moisture has not been dealt with, and not a ceramic replacement in wet areas. It is not solid timber, and it will not give a room warmth or timber character — that is the opposite of what it is for.

Best beside

  • Chalk-white walls
  • Dune-sand off-white
  • Weathered silver oak
  • Blackened steel, in thin lines
  • Reed, rush and matte woven texture

Avoid beside

  • Yellow or golden wall paint
  • Orange oak joinery
  • Glossy sealed surfaces
  • Nautical blue-and-white styling
  • Heavy rustic timber with strong knots

BEFORE YOU ASK · WHAT A QUOTE HERE MEANS

What it includes

A quote is itemised line by line — boards for your area, edge and threshold profiles, and anything else the job needs. Nothing bundled, nothing assumed.

How it arrives

Send the rooms and their approximate area — by form or WhatsApp. The itemised quote comes back to you personally.

Why no public price list

A floor is priced from its specification: the model, the area, the condition of the existing base and the finishing details. A number published before those are known would be a guess — we don’t guess. Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
