WHAT THIS FLOOR ACTUALLY IS

Handles everyday spills — kitchens and dry interiors, detailed correctly
Water-resistant for everyday use. Not a waterproofing system. Not a flood-proof claim. Clean with a damp mop; remove free water promptly.
Warm underfoot — ready for underfloor heating
Compatible with underfloor heating — declared for the product family, not measured by us per batch. The floor floats, so it follows the heat without being fixed to the screed.
Made for daily life — chairs, shoes, pets
Real long planks — a calmer, continuous floor
Full 1.83 m boards with a fine four-sided micro-bevel — our declared joint.
Ultra-matte — reads as real floor, never plastic

Good to know Think twice if you want a quiet, recessive floor — this is one of our most present, saturated tones.

CHOOSING · IS THIS THE RIGHT FLOOR

ARCHITECTURAL POSITION

2190-1 is the warmest floor of the eighteen and the most varied — the largest board-to-board difference we measure. That is the model: honey-amber colour with real light-to-dark movement across the field, and knots that belong to the drawing rather than interrupt it. It is a floor a room is built around, not one it is laid over.

Where it works

  • Rooms with space, where a lively floor has room to resolve
  • Chalk-white and pale travertine schemes that need one generous warm plane
  • Interiors seen mostly in late, warm light
  • Living and dining floors meant to be noticed

Where not to oversell it

Not for wet areas, standing water or as a ceramic replacement, and not solid timber. It is also the wrong floor for anyone who wants a quiet, uniform ground — the board-to-board difference is the largest we make, and it is visible in every light.

Best beside

  • Chalk white and lime plaster
  • Pale travertine
  • One blue-and-white majolica note
  • Aged bronze
  • Plain undyed textiles, without pattern

Avoid beside

  • A second high-chroma surface anywhere in the room
  • Gloss and polished sheen
  • Lemon-print and resort styling
  • Cold blue-white walls
  • Patterned rugs competing with the floor

BEFORE YOU ASK · WHAT A QUOTE HERE MEANS

What it includes

A quote is itemised line by line — boards for your area, edge and threshold profiles, and anything else the job needs. Nothing bundled, nothing assumed.

How it arrives

Send the rooms and their approximate area — by form or WhatsApp. The itemised quote comes back to you personally.

Why no public price list

A floor is priced from its specification: the model, the area, the condition of the existing base and the finishing details. A number published before those are known would be a guess — we don’t guess. Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
